» We will then fly to Lukla Airport and after 7 days trekking through to Khumbu valley will arrive at EBC

» Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazzar (3,440m)
» Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar (rest day)
» Trek from Namche Bazzar to Tyangboche Monastry (3,860m)
» Trek from Tyangboche to Dingboche (4,243m)
» Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,930m)
» Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) EBC
Estimated Time spent at Everest Base camp will be 4-5 days.
» Depending on weather we will spend the next 6-8 days acclimatizing and going for summit of Mt Pumori (7,161m) and back to EBC.
This will take us to around the start of May and will rest for 3-4 days.
» Depending on body adjustment, we will wait for a window weather for summit of Mt Everest (8,848)+ Mt Lhotse(8,516M)
» If ropes are not in place, we will make an acclimatization rotation to C1 C2 + touch C3 and return to EBC (3-4 days)
» By now it will be 8th-9th May. Rest 3-4 days and wait for weather window final summit push.
» Once Summited return and start cleaning up Base Camp

MEET DELLON’S CLIMBING PARTNER
Noel Hanna is a renowned adventurer and endurance athlete of the highest order. A native of Northern Ireland, Noel has scaled summits and competed in adventures the world over.
He is an original founder of the Spartan Race and his accomplishments include summiting Everest 8 times.
In addition, Noel has set the Guinness world record for Maxtrek. This is equivalent of going from sea level to the height of Mount Everest (8848m) and back to sea level in 21hrs 50mins.
2019 Records that Noel helped people achieve
In February Noel accompanied the youngest person ever to climb to the summit of the highest volcano in N.America – Pico De Orizabo 5636mts in Mexico – 12 year old American Decatur Boland along with his father Daniel.
On 16th May Noel accompanied Sarah Khumalo to the summit of Mt.Everest 8848 mts – making her the 1st Black African female to reach the summit of the highest mountain on earth.
27th September Lynne and Noel Hanna stood on top of Mt. Manaslu 8163mts ( 8th highest mountain) without the use of supplemental Oxygen – Lynne becoming the 1st Female from the island of Ireland to summit a 8000 +mts mountain without using oxygen and Noel the 1st from N.Ireland.
On Saturday 21st July 2018 Noel became the 1st Irish person to successfully summit and descend K2. It is known as the savage mountain with less than 350 climbers making it up and down the peak.
It has one of the highest fatality rate on the mountain with 1 in four climbers loosing their life and is located on the China – Pakistan border.
On 5th October 2017 Noel and 3 sherpas made HISTORY with a 1st Ascent of the technical peak Burke Khang 6942mts which borders Nepal and Tibet becoming the first humans to stand on the top.
There had been numerous attempts to summit this peak in previous years without any success.
On 21st May 2016 Noel and his wife Lynne became the 1st married couple to summit Mt.Everest from both Nepal south side and the Tibet north side of the mountain.

Daily Routine is going to Gym at 5am for an intense hour and a half of training. It’s the best way to start my day and I try and keep this up for at least 6 days a week.
On weeks that I don’t have a set schedule for, I will be either doing the Sea Point to Houtbay (19km) Run/Jog, or discovering a new hiking trail, which will definitely be posted up.
In the run up to the 3 Peak Challenge and closer to the 6 months before, I will be upping my game and combining my training with a number of Hypoxic training methods. Hypoxic Training is a way of improving my performance by training with a reduced amount of oxygen, which simulates high altitudes.
