    Looking to raise awareness around global warming and climate change, a Cape Town resident will attempt to summit Mount Everest in the Himalayas next year. If all goes according to plan, 42-year-old Dellon Francis, could potentially become the first Indian-origin person from Africa to summit not only Everest, but two other peaks on the same expedition.

    Durban – Budding Everest mountaineer Dellon Francis has been receiving correspondence from sherpas he once met on lesser peaks of the Himalayas, asking for paraffin lamps.
