MEET DELLON FRANCIS
Until quite recently Dellon (42) struggled with a fear of heights (Acrophobia) and while overcoming a few obstacles along the way, his final push in challenging this fear was accomplished when he climbed Mera Peak in the Himalayas in 2017. Now totally motivated to overcome the highest point on earth, Dellon invites you to partner with him on this journey.
An exceptional South Africa with an adventurous, persisting spirit and huge appetite to thrive and achieve. Dellon finds mountaineering rejuvenating process that fosters intense personal growth for him.
Dellon is one of the few South African climbers that have climbed the Mera Peak Himalayas. In April 2021 he will be the first South African to bring global warming to the forefront through his efforts in summiting.
As a global South African travelling extensively and living abroad, Dellon played his part as a Citizen Brand Ambassador. Since 2003 Dellon lived as an expat in the UK, Spain and for a very long Stint in China before returning in South Africa.
As part of the Global South Africans Network, Dellon actively participated and contributed toward the promotion of a positive image of South Africa as a National Brand. Dellon is currently based in Cape Town and spends his weekends mountain climibing and doing outreach work with the local community.
Dellon is an avid sports enthusiast. When he is not out in nature mountain climbing he enjoys Muay Thai and Crossfit training.
